2010 Honda CRV Diesel Auto.

I am about to take the plunge and buy one of these at the weekend, the auto only came out in 2010....I had a demo one this week for a couple of days, thought it was really good. Are there any reports I can read anywhere, or have any of you got any advice.

Yes in What Car April 2010. It did not compare it as a tow car other than comment that the auto was more limited in that role than the manual. The comparison did not think too much of the auto boxes performance and the CRV came second to the new Sorento.

The only commonly reported problem is poor 1st and second gear with the manuel version, not a problem for you!

Other than that some have reported the car steering to one side.

Go to honestjohn.co.uk and select forum, do a search.

Also on the same site, look up the road test report, faults are usually at the end of the report.

Does the auto have the same nose weight limit as the manuel?
 
We had a 2007, 56 plate manual. Thirsty for towing 1350kg - 22 to 24 mpg. 38mpg solo. It always pulled to the left. Nice to drive and more car like than some other soft roaders. High residual values, which is why I didn't buy it at the end of the lease. (
