Is PC trying to get people NOT to buy this awning, the pictures makes it look realy tattie, I will stick to my Swift 280. Much nicer.
The weight makes it totally unsuitable for Mrs B to put up on her own and what a mess it looks, and that I consider to be a major understatement. In 45 years of caravanning I have never seen in practice and we have never needed ventilation in the draught skirt. I have yet to see or hear of any air awning that I would change the Issy Magnum for.
Don't put the draught skirt on if you want/need ventilation :evil:
Must admit I don't always put the draught skirt on, nor the bit that goes over the wheel well above the skirt (probably cos I don't want to 1 drill holes for press studs 2 stick gunge for hooks/clips 3 do a Heath Robinson add on to make up for lack of forethought by caravan assemblers)
Martin, our Bradcot Aspire Air has proven to be a great bit of kit, have a look at one on site if you get the chance, particularly if as us, we don't want to look into an awning from the lounge

No guy lines on our Bradcot Aspire Air 390 There are storm straps supplied with sewn in connectors should they be required in stormy weather, that we used once when some Isabella full awnings came down in Cornwall in 2015
Isabella have launched an inflatable awning recently, the Pascal 390 I think it was, but called a 'Porch'. Was it reviewed on here?

The pictures are awful. Can only assume the team cba'd on inflating the cross beams as it looks very saggy across the front. Awning review after awning review on here is for an inflatable awning. All over £1k. Come on PC, review some poled awnings or budget poled awnings or even second hand awnings once in a while. Or how about reviewing awnings that can easily be put up by one person or a person with disability or physical limitations.

Mel, do you mean people of Parksy and my height?. We use the Awning skirt to try and keep the Ratter under contol prior and after a walk. . Modified one of ours with peg down holes to keep the little beast in.

Well from my seated position I'm littler than the lot of you at around 4'8" That's in the main chair, the little one on site and I'm even tidgier :cheer:
