hi,thinking of buying one of these,about a 2001 model,has anybody got 1,are they reliable,whats the towing limit on them?anything to look out for?thanks,adrian

I used to have one of these and loved it except for a couple of things which I didn't think quite suited it for towing.

The hitch is a long way back from the rear axle making the overhang a long way, thus the rear suspension needs to be in A1 condition; mine wasn't and had some side to side movement which made cornering not so good. The other problem was the engine which developed a major oil leak which actually proved fatal for it.

In general it was a good car, but older models will struggle a bit to tow more than 1300Kg at the max.
