5th wheel caravan

While recently on a cc site the warden there lived in a 5th wheel van and it looked superb,Extending sides and all sorts of trick bits.While this wouldnt have looked out of place in an F1 paddock i guess you are probably talking F1 prices but i would like to have a closer look anyway.Does anyone know anything about them ,ie dealers,websites or even who manufactures them.Do they have this sort of thing at the caravan show at the NEC.

Have looked on the Calder site. Yes the vans look impressive. But, apart from the York site, how do they fit on other sites? Have you used it abroad? What is the reaction?

I saw the logic of a 5th wheel(rv) Caravan on my first visit to the States in 1994 - and wanted one. I was put off by the size,

and the grey area re UK and proposed European legislation.

The only Brit manufacturer is the Fifth wheel company - beautifully furnished and made 7'6" x 26' Land Yacht @
