I do use my Kymco on the road because it a class 3 scooter and the tax disc goes into the pocket behind the seat with, insurance it easier access to my hospital and parking no problem.
Not sure what you are putting in your pocket, they no longer issue tax discs ?

You are very brave driving your scooter on the main road, there are some idiots out there.

My wife has both a class 2 and a class 3, with speed switch,
There is No way she would use it on the road, just too dangerous, never registered it, didn't know you had to, until now. Probably will not either.

I only drove my class 3 in the road when the pavement was impassable due to parked cars - and to cross the road - there is no way I'd drive it on a 70 mph dual carriageway even with lights and hazard flashers going.

Fortunately DVLA reinstated my licence so it hasn't been used for 6+ years - just charge the batteries each month.
