Adria Adora Door Lock Failure - Spares Delivery Times

Well that’s a bad start to this years season for us. 3rd day away and we find that the key will not open the door on our 2021 Adria Adora. Had a caravan engineer in to look at it, and it transpires that a metal component of the outer lock mechanism has failed. Of course, the van warranty expired last week didn’t it. TBF, the expense isn’t the biggest issue, for us it’s the 8 - 14 week lead time according to the dealer to get a replacement lock, as the ‘have to come from abroad’ could be end of July now before we can get it fixed. At least it’s secure……..

Sorry to hear this. Does it have to come from a dealer? Do any of the Caravan spares shop have a replacement lock that you could get an AWS technician to fit?

Thanks for the reply Mel. Working my way through the spares outlets at the moment to see what I can get. Fitting should be the least of my issues 😁

Possibly worth checking through the Adria dealers to see if any of them have a lock.

Have a look on SFM. They have various lock components. Not sure if they have what you need.

Thanks for the suggestions. Our nearest dealer, the one who told me yesterday it would need a whole new lock managed to find just the outside handle, so that will be winging its way to me.
