Hello there, can anyone tell us if we will have any problems finding a pitch in Benidorm in March 2008 to June 2008.This is our first time to Spain with the van so all advice is welcome.Has

anyone a site to recommend and costs involved. I have looked on the web but the info is limited and one site said they didnt reserve pitches.We would like to be sure of a pitch as we have booked the tunnel.I feel sure this is the best forum for help as I have received good advice here before so many thanks to all.

I don't know the area particularly well, but there are quite a lot of sites along that stretch of coast - have a look at the Caravan Club Europe volume 1. Although sometimes busy, I think it is pretty rare for a site to be actually full at that time.
 
March is usually a good time to go because a lot of the sites are full of people who travel down Sept. - March. You will be amazed at the number of vans that will pass you on the other side of the road on their way home.

Its also good for travelling down through France because a lot of sites are closed during the winter
 
I travel to Spain in May and never book anything and have not had any difficulty there or France. However in my experiance you might be a little early to find the sites emptied of the winter "lot" before late April early May.
