Our whale attachment keeps falling off on inspection we seen this is that easy to fix?

Personally I would try using a good super glue to reattach the broken piece.
Failing that look at getting a replacement part.

I don't advise generic superglue , there are ones available specific for plastics/rubbers . Also I use two part polyurethane epoxy (called shower and bath repair (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Shower-Repair-Hupeyna-Bathtub-Scratchs)) unlike superglue it takes longer to cure (24 hour). and it can be used to 'build up' the join , adding extra strength to help prevent reoccurrence

I used Plastaid to repair damage in the bathroom and on the front hitch fairing. Almost caravan coloured and can be built up in layers then sanded etc.

Araldite may successfully repair the damage, it's also a two part epoxy( I prefer the original product rather than the fast cure)

Araldite is trade name and the original domestic on although tough (we used to use a range of araldites back in the seventies to encase and support military equipment one variety didn't cure until raised to 55 Deg C) is a bit brittle for this kind of break (peel) that's why glass fibres are added to add shear strength. The two part shower and bath version seem to be better at coping with peel stress and also seem better at adhering to plastics, particularly ABS .That's my experience anyway.. A new whale inlet would also solve it.
