Quote .. In his evidence, Mr Al Fayed branded Prince Philip a "Nazi" and a "racist" and said: "It's time to send him back to Germany from where he comes."

I always thought Prince Philip was Greek and besides, that's fine coming from an Egyptian.

The mans a lunatic albeit a rich one :O)

Tend to feel a bit sorry for the man. He's lost his son and is searching for someone to blame. I think he is genuinely experiencing a lot of grief which can often lead to illogical thinking.

I don't subscribe to the conspiracy theories of murder and assassination but don't think we will ever know the whole story.

Mohammed Fayed wanted nay demanded this inquest, it was his perfect chance to place all the evidence he has in the open and support his claims - and it appears he's used it simply to bad mouth anyone who has disagreed with him.

no he is not, but diana was surley that is the point.

having followed the story quite closly since the accident (I believe thats all it was a tragic accident)several anomalies keep rising to the surface, it is these that fuel the anger and grief of this man who lost a son and possibly his only chance of ever becomming a british citizen.

the facts are much stranger than fiction and had it not been real would have made a best seller as a piece of fiction.

a woman divorced from a future king with a son garanteed to also be a king finds happiness in the arms of a foreiner of a different faith and the dies shortly after secretly getting engaged and before a formal announcement is made in a car accident where the driver was drunk despite never having a drink while on duty before, witnesses at the time saw a white saxo chasing the car and swerving to get in front of it which dissapeared after accident and has never been traced, also despite being a busy road in a capital city no-one apparently actually saw what happened or came forward as a credible witness.

piece of fiction unfortunatly no?? and a conspiry theorist dream.

I think it is about time that the country accepted that the Princess is now dead and that she should be left to rest in peace. I don't think all this publicity is needed and also feel sorry for her two boys to see this muck being raked up time and time again. They may now be adults but it is still their mother whose name is being tarnished.

What ever tosh any one conmes out with. One person in the car had a seatbelt on and he lived.

Assuming that the passengers in the car should have been wearing seatbelts. Any hit man would have failed in his task if they had been belted in.

Henri Paul the driver is now said to have been drunk and an alcoholic, but tests are said to have shown he had enough carbonmonoxide in his body to have had him stumbling around hardly able to walk even without any booze.

With out the drivers conditions re booze and carbonmonoxide being answered how can they reach any conclusion.

As for Al Fayed, he lost his son and "potential golden egg"

We are expected to believe that the two kids left would never ever find out that their Grandfather and Father had their mum killed.

I wouldn't be surprised to find the truth has been twisted, but also feel that Al Fayed is also partly guilty of causing the death of his Son and Diana and using Diana before and since her death for his own advantage.

" They may now be adults but it is still their mother whose name is being tarnished."

I fail to see how her name is being tarnished, more importantly it gives a hindsight to how thinks work in certain circles.

Whilst i believe it probably was a tragic accident, things have come out that would be found more often than not in fiction books/films.

ie, A women who moved in such high circles, had a strong fear of prince philip, and what he could possibly do to her.

That is very worrying, and as no one has come forward to prove she was off her rocker, then it should be taken as read......

And lets not forget her brother, and what he thought of the royals.

First and foremost I believe it was an accident. If, and it's a big if, the establishment was behind it I don't believe the royal family was implicated. I'm not a royalist but to accuse them is absurd.

Gio mentioned Diana's brother but he isn't actually a pillar of society being a drunkard and womaniser.

I wonder if Dodi's other woman will be mentioned at the inquest?

LB. it had nothing to do with whether he is a pillar of society, more a fact that he is a aristocrat and moves in those circles.

So probably knows more about the going ons than you or i.

For those believe it was murder no evidence will change their mind.

for those believe it was an accident they can not except the theory that it was murder.

There are people behind closed doors that have done much worse over history that you never hear of because it is well hidden.

In fact philip had his name changed from his German to Mountbattons I believe so he could marry the Queen as the public wouldn't except him, his sisters were married to Germans in the war.

What is done is done, and we will never know.....

Oh yes, agree, families at war. Probably due to jealousy and bitterness.

What behavior do we expect from a family of inbreds with a long history of "getting rid" of those that oppose them?

I think we should get rid of the lot of them .

Let's just pretend I wanted to bump someone off?

Would I swerve around flashing a light in the eyes of a professional driver in one of the best built cars on the planet with any real expectation that he would crash badly enough to cause the death of the occupants?

No.

I feel sad for mr Al Fayed as a father, but I can't fathom how the government allows huge sums of tax payers money to be wasted on the whim of a mega rich foreign businessman when the local news tonight covered the plight of a unfortunate ordinary guy who is being refused a sight saving drug on the NHS and is considering selling his house to pay for it.

If he lived in the next county he'd get it free.

I hope the court costs of Mr and Mrs McCartney's lovers tiff will also be fully funded by out of their combined fortunes and not be a drain in any way on the taxpayer.

Phew, glad I unloaded that one, I'll sleep better now (cute winking smiley thingy).

I feel sorry for Al Fayed losing his son but I think it's tipped him over the top. I'm sure if a shrink assessed him he would say he's deranged.

After reading yesterdays court room antics/pantomime I was in stitches. Surely they can't allow this farce to carry on, the latest is it will now cost

I will let it be known that I am a ROYALIST. I fully agree withe the Royal family being the head of Great Britain and her Commonwealth. I will also admit that there are far too many hanger ons/parasites within the royal dynasty. The Royal Family bring in far more wealth to the country than what they cost the country. God help us if we had a president like the middle eastern countries and the way they behave at election time.
