Algarve

Has anyone caravanned on The Algarve? Mrs Brum has suggested it for 2008.

Any comments on sites or routes would be really helpfull.

hi brum we gone down to the algarve a few time in early spring we take our dog so go via calais and down the west coast motorway via bordeaux and jean de luz over the boarder via sansibastine - burgos-salamanca lisbon etc. weather is generally good that time of year there are plenty of sites one we like is quaterra good well kept site in walking distance of the town and beaches or camping tourimo nr lagos but you need a car to get around, we have a caravan not so good in a motorhome. have a good holiday its beautiful there regards peter
