Alhambra tow bar protecter

Can you get a protecter for a swan neck tow bar to fit a Seat Alhambra, or any ideas on how to make one. My life would not be worth living if i was the one to put the first scrath on the wifes new car.
 
Swan neck tow-bars are very popular in Europe and in ten years of working in Rotterdam, I can't remember seeing a protector plate.

Cant see anybody making one due to type aproval laws, it would not financially viable.

Ive never had a problem with both my galaxy or my alhambra as the swan neck that brink make is quite far from the bumper.
 
Nigel - Buy a telescopic magnetic lifting tool for a couple of quid, and before you reverse up to the 'van, open your rear door up, plank the tool on top of your tow-ball,and hey presto, no danger of you damaging her baby.
