Another battery question

Hi there,

Caravan virgin here, I've searched the posts for questions regarding battery charging but although I'm sure it will be on here somewhere I can't find an answer to my question, namely, if i leave the caravan hooked up to the mains will the 'vans own charger look after the leisure battery ok or is the charge rate too high?

Mick, your van charger will keep the battery topped up ok, but only to about 13.5 volts.

It could do with the occasional boost to 14.8 to keep it in top condition.
