Cheers Seth, I should of added it is the 138 BHP model. I'm quite sure it'll do a great job of pulling our van.

After owning both versions, you would be suprised the difference the extra BHP makes. As for the auto box, they have always behaved perfectly under all circumstances.

Im not denying i do expect they have behaved perfectly,but auto,s seem to select a lower gear when in reality they dont have to.I noticed this last week with mine on a run to cornwall,put me off a little bit as i dont like to see large engines reving high.

Hi mikeyw. we have a 2008 model sorento 168 bhp,we tow a Abbey 620 gts twin axle,i find it brilliant for towing you cant feel the van on the back and its got loads of power in the engine.by the way mine is a manual highly recomend 168bhp.the new sorento is a no no for me All The Best Alan P/T
