any info or manual

I have just bought a 1994 swift challenger 470 but I dont have any info regarding the hot water boiler & zig unit. Any information would be appreciated.

Cheers

Hi John,

1st. make sure external drain is screwed in. (white nylon slotted plug on outside)

Then make sure that COLD taps are shut. Open Hot tap(s) and the pump will now fill the boiler. When water flows freely from hot tap the boiler is ready to use. You can run it on electric and gas at the same time for a rapid heat up. Approx 20min to 70deg.

Make sure you drain down in case of frost and when not in use.

Unscrew exterior plug and open taps. Water will flow from drain point.

Hope this helps

Regards Jim

Hi Andy

Sorry I didnt reply earlier but I have been away. I would appreciate any info on my 1994 Swift Challenger 470 as we dont have any handbooks regarding heating or zig unit etc.

cheers John

I can confirm James advice. Our 1993 Compass had the same water heater and that was the procedure. Very simple. Worth noting that on gas they can be a bit temperamental if they have not been used for a while.
