anyone been to the back of beyond?!

We haven't had a chance to visit this site yet, although we do have all their details. Hope you have a good time. Please keep us informed of what it was like upon your return.

The site is approached off the busy A31 to ringwood road, the entrance lane is VERY POTHOLED, take it steady and you are ok. You pass another campsite, I was a bit worried when we were driving down the lane as you pass a scrapyard, some disused buildings and you wonder what you are driving too!

The site has secure barrier (entry card issued), the site at first looks full, (there is a large caravan field with camping "areas" off of the main field), but we found most of the caravans werent being stayed in.

The site is very "natural", i.e - not manicured, our pitch was grass complete with molehills!

The site is ideal if you have a dog - woodland trails.

Didnt use onsite showers/toilets - used vans.

Site very quiet, bunnies and deer spotted, friendly owners.

Hubby said he would visit again, however I said I wouldnt, myself I prefer something like "old oaks" glastonbury - there I get top notch facilites along with a immaculate park, but thats just me!
