is any one towing with one of these ? how is it doing ? i will be towing an elddiss avante 524 which maxs out at 1325 kg, WOULD E INTERESED IN EVERYBODYS THOUGHTS GOOD OR BAD THANKS GLEN
 
hi glen, our previous car was a 1998 a4 2.4 (petrol) saloon with which we towed our abi jubilee courier from n/e scotland to kendal averaging 18mpg, a drive which i did not enjoy. we bought a 2003 a4 1.9tdi 139bhp saloon last year and towed the same caravan to cornwall last summer averaging 35mpg. it is fitted with cruise control which helped make it the most relaxed towing i have done. in april we went to oban on the a85 which is a very twisty road but it was still an enjoyable drive. we are now looking forward to our next trip to ross park in devon in june. i would certainly recommend the car as it has been faultless so far whether driving solo or towing. colin.
