Audi A6

I tow with an A4 Avant which is very stable (at about 83% ratio) so I would imagine the A6 should be as well. My engine is the 170ps and S line suspension.

Should be excellent.Check the max.ball weight though. My A4 3.0l Tdi cabriolet tows like a dream but has an 80kg max hitch load.My old Audi 100 was a superb towcar - it was 2.5Tdi and gave mid 30's towing and was faultless. All Audi s have excellent build quality.

I had an A6 S Line 3.0 auto Quattro. Sublime driving solo, Upto 42 mpg. Towed my Wyoming effortlessly and returned 24+ mpg.little low at the rear and used to cach the bottoms of the rear mudflaps occasionly. It replaced a 170 bhp a4 avant S Line manual which I must say was a fantastic bit of kit but i just couldn't get on with it. Im sure in auto it would of been better as i just couldn't get out of the habit of stalling it ! one thing i found, the dealers i used were dire. thats why i now have a bmw and hand on heart, it doesnt drive as well as an A6.... If only the salesmen at audi would speak to me i'd be driving that allroad instead......

Hi I tow with an A6 Allroad, 2.7ltr auto pulling 1500 MTPLM. A total dream. I hardly know the van is on the back and it has plenty of power. Being an alroad it has pneumatic suspension so is always straight and level. Weighing in at 1950kg it is unphased by most cross and headwind. A total dream and unlike other 4X4's is a beautiful ride solo! Can't recommend it highly enough.
