Great set of photos, some of which bring back memories. I saw TSR2 at RAF Cosford museum and could not believe that my phone at the time had more computing power than possessed by its quite large avionics bay.

Here’s a book that you might like, it’s all about Britains post war aviation developments “ Empire of the Clouds”. I’ve given mine away otherwise I’d mail it to you.

Most of the aircraft in our air force were Hunters and Canberra's. Helicopters were Alouettes. Our police air wing was privately owned planes like pipers etc.

Many years ago we went to Cosford museum and I enjoyed the day. OH found it a bit boring. Now that son in law and grandsons are here in the UK, maybe time for another visit?

Stunning photos Hutch i too used to love going to aviation museum saw one in Malta my dad was based there in the war and when he spoke about it brought some loving memories back.
