Hi Margaret - I tow with a Daihatsu Fourtrack - the only reason being is that we have had the car for quite a few years and it is going so well it is pointless in changing it. However a friend has the same caravan and is towing with a Mondeo 2 litre diesel with no problems - he reckons it is as if the caravan is not on the back. Greta caravan incidentally - we are very pleased with ours. A neighbough has a 4 berth version and tows with a 1.9 litre diesel Volkswagon Jetta again with no problems. Good luck with your van and hopefully you will have as much enjoyment out of it as we have.
