I have a 2015 Bailey Pegasus gt65 rimini . My question is regarding damp floors , I have checked and dont appear to have any damp areas .
I hear lots of talk around wet floors caused by rain running off the outside and instead of dripping off it tracks back to the floor under the caravan .
Has anyone experienced this and if so how did you stop this happening ?

It has been previously reported as an issue. Perhaps by 2015, Bailey resolved the issue. If yours is not affected I would just carry on giving its regular look see. After all if it hasn't exhibited any floor damp in 10 years then regular maintenance checks should suffice, just like around the rest of the caravan.

There's some threads on the overall subject, try a Forum search.

I have seen this in a few Baileys of that vintage and later. When you say you have checked , have you checked internally in the corners at the front with a damp meter (vinyl flooring can visually hide damp patches )Also have you checked underneath. The two types of damp have separate causes

Yeah looked in all corners and checked with damp meter all ok . I have looked underneath looks fine so far . I was just thinking if there was some preventative measures I could do . It’s been serviced every year for the last ten years and had no issues

@Steam thats all good then , Some have applied thompson's water seal to the underside as a preventative measure ,but Bailey do apply some form of sealant (black in colour ) at manufacture but any sealant can breakdown in time

And we are none the wiser where this OPs problem ended up, despite the rafts of good advice, especially from Buckman who had successfully used CRA2015 several times on caravans and a car. It happens so many times that we are left wondering. 🤔
Sadly Clive we rarely get any acknowledgment or update in spite of all the excellent advice🙉
