BCA276 / PO120 upgrade to BCA 306 /PO123 Battery Charger

I am planning to replace a BCA276 ( Powerpart PO120) with a BCA 306 ( Powerpart PO123) charger - if anyone has done that I would really appreciate some help with the cable linkage between the charger and the PS184 power distribution/fuse PCB

Why do you want to change it? The 276 is nominally rated 20A but the original (Chinese) label on it shows it to be 24A. It does however have only a single output whereas the 306 has two - it having a defined charger in it - which means it will need wiring modifications.

Float charging as handled by the 276 (as used in Baileys for at least a decade or two) is a perfectly sound and well tried process.

You could of course instead consider fitting a solar panel on the roof which will provide additional boost.

Thanks
Only because the 276 has failed and reading a few articles suggested that the three stage charger would provide more optimal battery maintenance. I am trying to understand how the new charger is connected to the PS184 board
