We are travelling from Calais end of this month. Down to Les Sables dlonne on the vendee. Could anyone advise of the best route with family and caravan on tow.
 
We went further south last year to Royan and went via the A28, if you look at www.viamichelin.com or www.mappy.com they give you options on motorway or trunk roads and also tell you what tolls to expect to pay on the peag

Went there last year and am going again on 1st August. We went via Rouen and we left Calais at about 7am and arrived approx 4pm. Punch the details into Via Michelin.com and the site does the rest. Easy driving although you need to wake up when driving through Rouen.
