Hi Simon

Is the small plastic tab still present/intact at the loose side of the ali bar? I have had to replace a few of these (a result of 2 small children with sticky fingers!) as they get broken quite easily. If the hook is broken then they do not hook into the frame on that side, which will cause the lack of tension. You can get replacements from a dealer and they cost about
