Looking at purchasing this type of cover-already have it with AA via the bank but that seems to only be the car-any comments or preferences re available options?Caravan Club Mayday looks like a good deal?Any one used it?

Have you called the AA to see if you can upgrade? I'm pretty certain you can so might be the cheapest alternative

I have emailed them but await their response-not holding my breath!It would be a simple option as I have had this cover for ages but can't find anything on the website about caravan recovery

It also depends on what length caravan you have. We've a got 26' long twin axle and we found getting cover quite difficult with the AA and Tesco (Green Flag). In the end we got a good deal with Mayday through the CC. We paid
 
I have now had email reply from AA-apparently I am covered whenever I am towing my caravan as well....if anyone else has similar add ons via bank..Lloyds is mine it may be worth checking out?
 
Hi Alison

I'd check your level of cover. You might be covered with the AA to tow your caravan back home after an incident - but will they take you to your holiday destination (with the van), take the car off for repairs and repatiriate everything after your holiday? The RAC does.

Some cover won't actually take you ON to the site either - which could be a bit of a bummer if your car's not working and you're stuck at the gate with your van!

Worth looking into.
