Broomfield Park v Ardmair Point Ullapool

Think we're decided on Ullapool for the Summer. Anyone been to Broomfield or anyone want to offer a comment on Broomfield V Ardmair Point? Small children 7, 5 and 10 months in tow. The midgemasters and central location at Broomfield look appealing but an open mind. Helpful comments appreciated as is all the feedback on Ardmair received on separate thread.

Whilst at Ardmair Point this year we had a good look at Broomfield.

Broomfield has an excellent location, close to Ullapool town, beautiful views ; that's it imo.

Personally it's Ardmair Point every time for us.

Admair wins hands down.

It's called location, location, location.

The site may be a bit dated, but the owners realy do keep it very clean.

You can't beat putting the van on facing the beach and just soaking up the views.

If it wasn't 600 miles from me, I'd be there now.
 
Ardmair every time.....it might be further away from the shops at Ullapool (?5mls ) but if you are parked beside the water then you are in heaven.

We tried Broomfield for 1 night.....certainly convenient for the town but not our cup of tea.
 
hi gordon have used broomfield park site for years we find their is more atmosphere to this park than ardmair site also broomfield has got the midges machines on site why not stay in both sites then you can make up your own mind best of luck dave
