True, but they were nice andLooks like 2 scrawny bits of meat on a dustbin lid.
Brilliant bits of kit and generally with spares available, but not much really to go wrong. We used ours last night, but dogs helping doesn’t get marinated or seasoned. Chicken thighs, red wine followed by Gladiator circa 2003, and I stayed awake too..You know when your living the dream.

I could not be arsed to flas up the charcoal one.
Our Cadac is the smaller variant so quite easy to clean in a communal sink, or my garage sink too. I’ve also got Weber Smokey Joe and Masterchef charcoal bbqs. The Smokey Joe we can take out for picnics as it’s very easy to carry. After 15 years of use I’ve given ours to my niece for her garden.
Nothing wrong with the Cadac except cleaning it on site after use was a nightmare.
It was great for BBQ and cooking while joints .
It was heavy and taking up a lot of space with all the very useful accessories.
We bought One of these.
Ok so real charcoal but easy to clean and transport plus still cooks authentically.
Might be allowed to get one myself that off the ground (site rules ) and very reasonableAfter 15 years of use I’ve given ours to my niece for her garden.

BB you can use it on a table. I put an off cut of cement board underneath, to protect the table surface. Note its legs are quite tall.Might be allowed to get one myself that off the ground (site rules ) and very reasonable![]()
I have a gas version just for trips of a few days. After 15 years of use I’ve given ours to my niece for her garden.
