Calais Honfleur Benodet

Hi , looking for any advice / recommendations for stopping enroute in the area of Honfleur / Liseaux for say 2 nights whilst going down to Benodet. Also we will be looking for an overnight stop say 1/2 hr from Calais on the way back.

Have got CC European book 1 but with so many to choose and as a first trip ( with van ) all advice welcome.

Evening Pip, I've heard that there is a good site at St. Omer which is about half an hour south of Calais.

Yes, we stayed there a few years back - http://www.chateau-gandspette.com/ - very pleasant. Also http://www.bien-assise.com/ which we visited for an overnight last year - briliant restaurant. We noticed the calibre of pitch allocated to overnighters seemed to vary according to whether or not you attempted to speak French!
