Camp Site Near St Malo

I will be staying in Vendee area of France for my Summer Holidays and have a 10:45 return ferry from St Malo. I plan to leave Vendee the day before and stay overnight near St Malo.

Can anyone recommend a site that is convenient for the ferry?

Also, we will be staying at the La-Yole site. Does anyone have a report?

Can't recommend a site or comment on La Yole apart from the fact we have booked there for our summer holiday so am interested in any reports too.

A good site near St. Malo is Camping Le Petit Bois.

This site is about ten minutes away from the ferry

Another site is Le Hallerais at Taden near Dinan about half an hours drive from St. Malo
 
I have stayed at both Le P'tit Bois and Les Hallerais and much prefer the latter. From Les Hallerais you can walk along the river into Dinan which is worth more than just a fleeting visit. It is also cheaper than Le P'tit Bois which we first stayed at in 1986 when it was not much more than a basic site.
