Camping in the Moselle

Hi, Happy new year to all. Thinking of taking a May break in the Moselle region of Germany and any adevice on campsites would be welcome. No kids and no pets (that's us, not a requirement), thanks.

Chris

We have stayed ona site on the Moselle on the Cues side of Bernkastel it was very good with good views over the river. Bernkastel on the Mosel(if you have never been) is the prettiest place on the river and is in easy reach of Trier which is a lovely city too. You can easily motor down the river to Cochem a lovely little town too and further on to the Rhine for the a day Very oldy worldy and nice places to eat. We can recommend The Moselblumchen in Swannen Strasse typical food of the area. We have just stopped at this hotel before Christmas for the 15th time and have eaten there when in the caravan. I am away at the moment but if you are interested I can let you know the name of site when I get home in just over a weeks time. We did not book ahead and there was plenty of room at tht time of the year you want to go May.
