Can anyone recommend a campsite that has course fishing on site in the South west area? We just came back from the New Forest where they had one now fancy trying it. Appreciate any help thanks Mandy

Hi Mikey its called Sandy Balls if you google it you will see its a big site but it never seems crowded when I have been. Its my favourite holiday destination.

I have been there before but never fished, did you fish the river?

If you are ever up this way again http://www.caravancampingsites.co.uk/wiltshire/greenhillfarm.htm

is a good site with fishing in the new forest.

How about The Old Oaks touring park in Glastonbury?

This is an adult only park with fishing on site that regularly features in the Practical Caravan top 100.

I haven't been there but have read some good reviews.

Hi Mandy

Trevornick has fishing ponds and you can pitch up next to them if you want, the site is in a fab location with one of the best beaches, its called Holywell Bay, the facilties on site are first class and the views are stunning. Its 7 miles from Newquay. I would recommend it but it doesnt come cheap!
