Help please. How do I wire up 2 batteries in the Van so that they both charge together whilst driving and on site ?

Batteries need to be in parallel, so you still have 12volts but twice the capacity. ie. Positive to Positive and Negative to Negative.

......remember unless you are using a completely sealed Gel type battery then it is unsafe to site the battery in the living area of the caravan due to the dangerous explosive gases produced.

Both batteries must be in good condition, and at about the same level of discharge, other wise very large current can flow between the batteries with the risk that either wiring or the batteries may over heat.
