nice one tony, but to be honest i am one of them that read the book when i got my caravan. went for our maiden voyage back in october and i couldnt get the fire to work on gas.
i had followed the instructions in the handbook religously, but still nothing.
when we came back i posted in here about my fire not working on gas, got loads of good replies.
then, one day when i was footering about inside it, i had another look at the gas branch next to the fridge. the book stated that the green one was for the fire and the rest were colour coded as well, when i looked at the route of the green pipe it went away from where the fire was, so i tried the red valve, opened it and hey presto, the bloody fire came on. the green one is for the water heater on my model. apparently some handbooks only cater for a wide range of their merchandise and isnt really model specific.
