Reading between the lines is there an ageism thing here for over 80s with touring or seasonal caravans?🤔
Ageism would be at work if there was an unevidenced and unfounded assumption that over 80s made more claims than under 80s.
If in fact they actually do make more claims and cost the insurance company more; then this is simple statistics and actuarial tables are calculated accordingly: not Ageism.

But even so would such tables be a basis for not offering cover? Albeit at some astronomical premium that no one would purchase. Companies providing financial services can have a policy of not offering cover to certain age groups without being discriminatory on ageism.

I've seen no evidence about age and claims frequency. I guess under the Freedom of Information Act the question could be asked of all caravan insurers?
As an example Caravan Guard say

I once heard someone say that “being old are the Golden Years” to which the reply was “ You either had a rubbish younger life, or have bladder problems “”.

I don't think you can use the Freedom of Information Act on a private business. It only applies to governmental institutions.
