Hello

I have a Carver caravan mover which isnt working at the moment. The control box light flashes 5 times which it says is an overrun problem. Has anybody got a clue what this means ?

Thanks

It does have a reset button but every time I reset it and try to move the caravan it stays still and comes up with the same problem. Got instructions but no fault finding pages are supplied. Looks like I'll have to ring a dealer.

HI! Mark i take it that the battery is fully charged , check all wiring try working it with the rollers of the tyres see what happens . try moving the van yourself to see if the handbrake has not stuck on this might be the fault ,are the battery,s in your remote new, does the mover have a wire from the remote to the box in the van try working it with the wire .The remote might be faulty .

hope this might help get back and will try other things but not a lot left to try

cheers Duggie

We recently changed our van and had a similar problem. Turned out that the batteries in the remote had died - but then we needed to sync the remote with the control unit.

Found the Carver instruction booklet on the Truma Website:

http://www.truma.com/_anweisungen/Truma-Katalog/gb/mover/euro_caravan_mover.html
To sync our remote you had to do the following:

1) Make sure Mover is DISENGAGED and Handbrake on!

2)Press and hold the reset button until the LED starts flashing.

3)Press the Red button on the remote twice within 1 second.

It worked for us!
