A bit of Fred Drift . My Bailey Hartal door lock assembly seized up last week virtually stopping us from entering the caravan.
Got a new oneFrom these good guys
Looking closely at the old one hard to see what has failed other than all the joints are sloppy.

Sorry but No pictures, as he has had it back to the dealer for a check over after putting his left wheel down a broken drain,
He is out in it on Thursday I will get him to send me a couple of photos.

Saxo, eventually received from my brother a picture from his 2020, Swift Celeste, Archway. If you enlarge the picture, the locking plate is different.

Could be that Swift were seeing a lot of worn down strike plates of continuous opening and closing of the latch, they decided to add a removable plate, which can be swapped over with ease instead of swapping the whole plate like Hutch’s brothers…that’s my theory.
