Caravan park near Leicester

Depends how far you're going out of Leicester as well to be honest....I would highly advise going that little bit further and staying in Rutland - England's smallest county. Rutland Water at the heart of it is the perfect place to spend a day or two with walking, sailing etc.

Also, if you're in Leicester and need any van bits or just a good browse to update equipment at the start of the season go to the Caravan Company just down the road from the new Highcross...I came across their details on www.touring-caravans.com and was very impressed and ended up virtually buying the shop!!

There is Proctors at Barrow on Soar,although this is not the most up to date site.However the village does have an excellent selection of pubs and takaways that are only a short walk away
