Carver 3000 heater

The spindle coming out of the control valve dosnt for want of a better discription stop turning. Whereas its mounting does (what I assume is min to max)when I turn it with my fingers. Can I repair or do I have to replace.

I think you have Carvers pre 94 version of Truma's gas fire, least ways the 3000 is a Truma 3002. Carver used two plastic bits jointed by a short length of piano wire and it's one of these plastic bits that's now come loose.

Simple solution is to scrap the complete control rod and use Truma's 'old' 3002 control rod, these are available via your local dealer
