It may depend on the model. I just had my Truma (Carver) mover control box fail. I found a repairer on EBay. It cost me £120 and I admit to being sceptical. However, considering Truma’s attitude and estimates on the phone I was pushed into a corner. Truma said the control box sometimes needs reseting by the factory. This must be an inherent fault with the unit, imho. Yet they wanted £40 plus postage each way.

The EBay repairer was excellent, they specialise in a lot of things Truma based, they are based in the same area as Truma so I suspect they are trained there. I was very impressed with the service. I got a diagnostic report and work recorded saying a chip needed replacing.

I am reluctant to post the address as I want my mover repair to stand up to the test of time. And I don’t know if they want their contact sharing. But if you want it PM me.

They also sell second hand tested spares.
