Citoen Synergie

I have been offered a Citroen Synergie 2.0 very cheaply(owners Death), we have a Dethleffs caravan 990kg. The car has done 55,000 miless and is in very good condition ,FSH etc.

Does anyone know if they are good towcars? Is there any problems with them I should know about?

Thanks in anticipation.

Mark,

I used to own a Synergie, I towed a Bailey Ranger 460/2 with it down to the med and back, as well as around the country. It was a great tow car never had one problem with it, I only sold it as I bought an LMC caravan that weighed in at 1600Kg and it was a bit to heavy for the Synergie.

Your caravan at 990Kg will not be a problem for the car.

You might like to ask about the Peugeot 806 or the Fiat Ulysses, both are derivatives but I don`t think the Fiat has the HDI engine.

good luck mate any questions feel free to ask,

Tony A.
