Hi All, I am going to start looking at caravans this weekend. I know some questions to ask the dealer, I am really concerned about damp. Would it be wrong if I took a damp reader with me? What do most people that buy second hand do?
I think that a damp meter is only going to be of use to you if you know how to use it, and where to check in the caravan. In addition, as has been already mentioned, the dealer may be concerned if you turn up with a pronged damp meter and do not appear to be experienced in using one.Hi All, I am going to start looking at caravans this weekend. A dealer will be 100% liable if they sell a caravan without good title, so thats something they all check very carefully.Plus, when you find the one you fancy make sure whoever is selling has good legal title.
