cracked bathroom sink

can these be repaired easily?

as the bowl is only plastic i imagine repair is an option. can the bowl be repaired from the underside and if so, what did you use? would the repair be watertight?

i have a 1992 abbey piper 14/4 ex (if that makes a difference) with a corner sink unit.

many thanks

dan

Dropping something into bathroom wash basin punched a small hole in it when we were on holiday in France last year. I made a successful, watertight repair using Rapid Araldite and we continued using the sink for 3 months before we could get a replacement. Unfortunately Araldite tends to discolour to a horrible yellow after a while, and it spoilt the look of the white basin. A new wash basin costs

There are so many different, incompatible, "plastics" that it's vital to find out what it's made of - many caravan sinks are ABS.
