Ok, the hoses are still dripping slowly, and the service guy is trying to shuffle about appointments

Is there anything I could do, like purchase a new hose clip and pink glycol to fill the tank, any recommendations would be great for the clips and liquid?

As we are going away on the 4th April on holdiay... sods law this happening ! 🙁

If it’s a simple joint leak then a hose clip would be fine, and you could then refill the system. I’ve also used Rescue Emergency Tape on a cars leaky coupling. It’s self amalgamating, very heat resistant and removable when required.

Alternatively if this were to complicate your warranty claim you could use site facilities, an electric fan heater, and kettles for warm water.

Thanks guys

Presume the system is under pressure when the hearting is on, once filled I don't need to release any air pockets after testing it when switched on?

If the tank is just about empty, how much litres should I purchase to fill up?

This will help, plus there are YouTube videos and Aldes website.

I believe there are a few "bleed" points in the system, yet again Google and You tube are very informative.

In all honesty, I would get it sorted then get rid off it, that van has been a jinx to you.
Can't give up on it Billy, we have to make what's wrong to a right

The dealership has also swiftly been back in touch, and I can't get give them enough credit

They have already started the ball rolling for warranty claims for the carpet and wood panel 🙂

It’s often the case that when the first owner gets the issues sorted out, the caravan settles down and gives minimal trouble. Sounds as if you have a good Dealership. It should be sorted in time for your holiday although some things like staining may require a further visit if the dealers cannot get everything done in what is a busy period for them.
