Decal cleaning fluid

Just ordered new decals for the van the supplier recommends either Prepsol or Iscol rubbing alcohol to thoughly clean the area first before applying said new decals

Tried a search and not much success is there an alternative , maybe meths or something similar?

Methylated Spirit wil do just as good a job

A dilute soapy water solution will help you to slide the decals into their correct position.
