Delaminating Floor

Hello again,

I've got a 1998 Fleetwood Colchester. In heavily used areas the floor feels a little spongy. Is it essential to repair it or can you live with it?

Many thanks

hi steve

I would definitly get it looked at just in case,

my father had a colchester for many years and allthough it was a much older model than yours he never complained of spongy floors untill one day he went through the floor at the entrance to the bathroom.

I did manage to effect a repair for him but it was a difficult task it appeared that a previous owner had removed the protective membrane from underneath the floor allowing damp to get in which got worse after time.
