Delete account

This recent thread might help.
The ICO web pages give the overall policy, but if that’s your desire best to contact the publishers of the website as all sites tend to have their own approach. Can’t recall anyone on this Forum having their account deleted but I think one member left and had their username anonymised in their posts but of course their username still appeared in reply or quotation posts. If it didn’t then it would wreck forum archives and historical posts.


Right to be Forgotten

How do social forums deal with "Right to Be Forgotten/Erased" requests. I can see that posts made by a member can be deleted by themselves, or possibly en masse the by the Forum admins, but copies of original posts embedded in another members reply would be quite difficult to remove, and would...

Hi. Sorry, I am new moderator and don’t know. However, looking at the tools available to me, I don’t think this is something mods can do but will check with Sam.
