I have just bought a digi flat screen tv with freeview, and would like to know what aeriel (and booster) will give me the best reception, also, I have heard that the signal booster must be the correct type for digital tv??
No, you can't use satellite dish. Freeview is digital through air, from transmitter to your aerial. Satellite is from a satellite to your dish. A Sky digibox won't deal with Freeview signals and vice versa.Could you use an old Sky dish?? probably considerably cheaper!
For Ebay users, try this.hi

You can use a satellite dish and sky digibox. Freesat is a service made available for those wanting freeview in areas where it cannot be received through a traditional aerial yet. Do an internet search for Freesat for more information. No, you can't use satellite dish. Freeview is digital through air, from transmitter to your aerial. Satellite is from a satellite to your dish. A Sky digibox won't deal with Freeview signals and vice versa.
