Do you remove your Dashcam in sunny weather

Now that the Sun has returned and we may be using windscreen sun covers inside the car I wonder if users remove the dash cam as it will be between the sunscreen and the windscreen, and potentially get very hot. There are other car sensors in that area ,but they are an OEM fitment whereas the dash cam is an after market accessory. Cannot find anything in the car's owners handbook about not using windscreen sunshades inside the car.

It may well be a sensible idea. But I just leave mine and it has been in 35 degree heat. (And hotter in the car). Reason. Life’s too short.

So far it has not been a problem.

It just sort of dawned on me as with caravan reflective blinds I always tended to not have them full closed to reduce the likelihood of damaging the windows of the caravan.

I leave mine and sometimes if it hot I put the sunshade blind on the windscreen so far with no problems

The only time mine gets removed is when it falls off itself (and triggers the alarm........).
