Update 7 july 2008 replacement HARTAL HIGH SECUITY DOOR LOCK fitted.

27 July 2008 replacement HARTAL HIGH SECURITY DOOR LOCK failed.

Same as the last one. We were going on holiday 0800hrs 28/07/08 now going to dealers first. Wife very upset. feal like giving up caravaning for good.

Back off holls. Had more fun with the ACE caravan.

Sink waste pipe detached and filled the cutlery draw with washing up water. The pipe has been cut to short

Water run along the shower room wall.Came from who knows where.It was raining at the time.

When do I say enough is enough?

That's a real shame. Looks like you'll be speaking to the lady with the lamp ( see yours 04.07.08).

Since my dealer fixed our lock it has behaved impeccably. I am sure there was a major faulty batch out there affecting all caravan manufacturers.

I recived an email from the lady with the lamp.....also a tan now probably.

The new lock has been fitted

but some outstanding issues remain

will keep you all posted.

At least things are moving in the right direction, I hope. My door lock's ok now . Clearly Hartall had a defective bunch.

As for the rest let's the suntanned girl sorts you out soon.

Picked up van today arrived home wound the legs down.Went in the van and found new fault inn the shower room. I have rejected the van
