Can anyone please give any advice or tips for our journey from Germany to South of France. This will be our first time driving through Switzerland. if anyone has done this journey before how long did it take? thank you.
 
If at all possible, I would avoid driving through Switzerland. At the borders, you will have to buy a vignette both for the car and caravan at a charge of around 40Euros each
 
We live in the middle of Germany near Frankfurt and it took us 2 days to reach the Mediterranean via Mulhouse, Besancon, Lyon. Because we didn't leave home until the afternoon, we only made it to D
