Hi, we have an Adria 612 DL Seine which is 8190mm long. We tow it with a Skoda Superb.
We used to have an Adria MH which we took to Europe on the Shuttle.

My question is how difficult is it to tow a caravan like ours onto, and off, the Shuttle? I realise we will be in the large carriage but is it more difficult to load and unload than an 8300mm MH.

The ferry is not an option due to severe sea sickness.

Thanks.

Never taken a caravan that size, but we found the entry way bigger than we needed and I have never heard of any problems with anything of any size. Possibly having been on board with the slightly smaller previous model you can judge how it went for you, but the crew are very experienced and I would not worry.

I had a large single axle, I used the tunnel quite a number of times without a problem. I drove onto the flatbed carriage deliberately overshooting a bit, in that way, when I straightened up my outfit was in a straight line.

I did worry at first but watched videos like that posted above. It turned out to be far easier than expected. An even larger one would have been fine.
